Bonjour!

I’m popping in quickly today to see how you have been?  How was your Easter?

I’m back from my camping trip and I absolutely loved it!  Loved the sound of silence, the campfire, the nature, etc.  It was the first time in my life I was camping!  I have a lot to tell you but, I’m having a busy week and so blog post on the camping trip will come soon.

I also went with hubby to Eureka Tower in the city which is the tallest building in Melbourne.  Loved it!  I’ll tell you all about it soon.

This week, I’ve got two major events that I have to put on the front burner.  First my Pledge Ceremony to be an Australian citizen is finally happening on Thursday!

Second,  as you can see on my sidebar, I’m a proud member of Romance Writers of Australia.  This organisation offers a great service which is to register for a one-off critique of three chapters and synopsis of your novel by a published author or an advanced writer.  So, I have registered and I have until Thursday to send my pages.  I want to do a third edit on these chapters before sending them and I also have to re-write my synopsis.

Finally, I also want to give you an update on my Road to Publication.

So, there are a few posts lined up.  But, for now, I’m focusing on editing, again, the first chapters of my novel and I’m off to my working space.

Meanwhile, here’s a short video I shot at beautiful and wild Alpine National Park where we camped.

What have you been up to?

You couldn’t have picked a better activity than camping to celebrate your citizenship – you’re a true Aussie now! Congrats and look forward to hearing more about the camping – you’ve just introduced me to a part of the state I didn’t know about :)

I know Alarna! It’s so great that I had the opportunity to go camping before my ceremony! It was such a beautiful and wild place!

One more sleep to go Rita, very exciting. Congratulations. I love camping for the very reasons you mentioned. It’s so quiet, and being able to smell the beauty of nature is so therapeutic. The romance writing venture sounds like it will be a great support for you. Good luck with your editing xx
