by Rita Azar on March 5, 2013

I do love a good graffiti.

I came across these graffiti in the streets of Melbourne and I thought they were quite interesting so I’m sharing them here today for Wordless Wednesday.

I like it when it is done as art, rather then just tagging. I also noticed your new knitty background! I like that too ;)

I appreciate Graffiti Art. I like it when it is significant and means something nice.

Agree, it’s great when you see a graffiti that actually means something like the face of this indigenous child.

Wow, really nice. In Montreal, I don’t like the graffiti. But there’s nice graffiti in the states.

What is your favourite one that you have seen in the States?

Really original graffiti there. The kid’s face looks so realistic. Wow!!

I don’t mind it when it’s arty like this. Not so keen on stupid squiggles and tags though …

That last one is amazing. Whereabouts is it? I’d love to go down and have a look myself. I love Melbourne’s street art, it is so unusual.

The last one is in Brunswick Rhian. I can’t remember which street but I’ll check and let you know.

Hi rita very poignant. My fave graffiti is at bondi beach. Always love the image of the girl with the frangipani in her hair. I think her name was Chloe, she was killed in the Bali bombings. Just 16 from memory. It always makes me think of how lovely she must have been and how sorely missed. x

Oh wow… I just Google it and it’s an amazing work of art indeed… So sad but a great way to remember this tragic event.
