Wordless Wednesday – At the beach
by Rita Azar on February 19, 2013
While my family and friends are now facing days like this one…

Car buried in the snow, Montreal, winter 2013
On my side of the world, on a beautiful and sunny Monday morning, I went there…

Williamstown Beach

Williamstown Beach

Williamstown Beach
And, did this!

Williamstown Beach
This is just one of the many reasons why I love Australia…

Gorgeous photos! The weather has been amazing lately!
I had no idea you lived so close! I love Williamstown beach.
It’s a beautiful beach! It was the first time I went there. Do you live in Melbourne too?
You win, you win! I can’t imagine living with snow near my house, let alone having everything completely covered by it. Great shots
Thanks! I chose quite an extreme photo of snow but this winter was apparently very harsh.
Brrr I know where I’d rather be
xx
Haha! Me too!
Love it! I know exactly what you mean, there is not quite as much snow in the UK but it is very similar. I don’t miss that either.
I miss snow only for Christmas time. But, the rest of the time, I much prefer the warm weather!
CRAZY comparison!
At the same time of the year and such extremes! Crazy indeed!
Oh yes!! It’s been such beautiful weather – I spent Sunday afternoon in the water at Altona beach – and the water was WARM! Have you been to Altona? If you’re ever in the neighbourhood, let me know
No Alarna, I never been to Altona. I will sure let you know if I go this way. Would love to meet you one day.
Gotta love Melbourne and the weather!
Absolutely! And we’ve been having such a good weather lately!
What a contrast!
Haha! I know Lisa, Talk about extremes!
I would take the sunny day at the beach any day!! Fantastic photos of the beach Rita
Me too!
Thanks Alicia!
Always wondered what Melbourne beaches were like , excellent insight! You look like you are having a lot of fun!
Did you ever came to Melbourne Sabeen?
Yes I have a few times but never visited the beaches

Gosh I know where I would rather be…..at the beach.
Totally agree!
Oh and I love, love and triply love it too. Sometimes I feel sad to be so far from my family who are all in Scotland… but really I just love living in Australia.
I understand the feeling Seana. I do miss my family heaps but I was so sick of the winter… I love the weather here!
Amazing water, I miss so much the sunshine…lucky you
The beach was amazing! Where are you from?
Weston Super Mare near Bristol….UK..so you understand
…
I love the snow! I get so excited when it hails here, because it’s a semblance of snow…. I should clarify I love skiing and snowmen etc- not shovelling snow of cars x
I have to admit that I love seeing the snow, at the start, when it s all white. But I just can’t tolerate the cold that comes with it!
Yep, I know where I’d rather be!
Tick for the beach!
It is a great beach. My uncle and aunt live near there and I remember a lovely day spent there with them when Miss E was only 2
It was a lovely morning and it is indeed a beautiful beach!
